91´óÉñ

Outreach

The 91´óÉñ is committed to supporting and encouraging students in aspiring to higher education.

UniCamp is a summer school offering a university experience for students in Year 12 (or equivalent). Students have the chance to take part in a variety of university-style subject tasters, preparing for university workshops, as well as team-building and social activities. It is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about higher education at the same time as developing key transferable skills that will be useful at university.

The 91´óÉñ participates in the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers eastern region group to provide opportunities and support for looked after children and care leavers to progress to university including annual residential programmes, university application support and drop-in sessions to offer advice and support for starting university.

The Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach () aims to help young people from East Anglia with little or no experience of university to explore the world of higher education. We work with students in Years 9-13 who live in areas identified by the Government with low rates of progression to higher education.

Neaco was established in 2017 and brings together the 91´óÉñ with Anglia Ruskin University, University of Cambridge, University of East Anglia and Norwich University of the Arts as Consortium Partners, with Cambridge acting as lead partner.

We at the HE Family Zone recognise that it is sometimes nicer to talk parent to parent. We have teamed up with 12 Suffolk based Parent Carer Ambassadors. They are parents who have been through the process of supporting a young person's journey through higher education and want to share their experience. It is their priority to give non-biased advice that focuses on giving you the tools you need to make informed decisions. You can find our team at school parent events and university open days. Outside of these events they have produced a collection of blogs, podcasts, and videos for you to access at your leisure.
